Live Your Life in Beta!
I saw this on Facebook this morning:
This makes me so happy! It's true that learning makes an impact when it's important and it matters to the learner. She has been tweeting for a year and it finally clicked at the conference! :) That's how it happened for me too!
Heather is an amazing teacher with a new blog. (Hint, hint...hoping Heather shares it soon!!) She's always searching for ways to improve her craft as a teacher. She inspires and helps so many!! Today, she's at ISTE learning all sorts of amazing new things! Here's a tweet from the conference that I just love...

Live your life in beta. Give yourself permission to take risks, and fail and challenge the norm. #iste2014

I love this quote. "Live your life in beta." Here's to Heather and all of the other teachers out there today who are taking risks and learning and stretching and growing! Way to go, Heather! Have lots of fun at ISTE!!
I was just looking at that same post and thinking about how much it says in 140 characters. Great minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteOh, I was looking at it because you retweeted it. Thanks for sharing that.
DeleteI was just thinking how overwhelming Twitter is and then I read Heather's post. So, I'll keep at it. Also, that is a great quote, "Live your life in Beta!" That should have been the name of our pilot program ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to read Heather's blog! Hint, hint!
It's taken me a while with Twitter and I still don't feel completely confident, but I call it Twitter Love when my tweets get re-tweeted. That's a good feeling. I've participated in a few chats, and they move so fast it's difficult to keep up. Building my PLN a little bit at a time. I've made friends on FB, too, in my PLN. That's what led me here.
ReplyDeleteI recently read an article about making the most of your Facebook and one thing that stood out for me was to promote others. You are doing that here for Heather. Great!
