Spring Break Top Ten Resolutions!
Thank you to Stacey, Betsy, Dana, Tara, Beth, Anna, Kathleen & Deb for this amazing platform to write and share writing! What a wonderful community you've created! I'm honored to be part of it. Join us at Two Writing Teachers.
I'm going to be completely honest. It's Thursday night and I am currently co-moderating a Twitter chat (shhh, don't tell I slipped over here for a moment!) and worried I won't think of anything to write.
I notice a tweet with a slice of life post by Beth called Spring Break Resolutions. It's a great post, you should stop over and read it! This idea is all her idea...I'm just adding my twist to it.
One more day of school and spring break is upon us. No trips this year. I've decided to get some things done, but when my plans stay so vague...nothing ever gets accomplished. I'm going to make a top ten list of resolutions for my spring break to help me out. Here we go...

One more day of school and spring break is upon us. No trips this year. I've decided to get some things done, but when my plans stay so vague...nothing ever gets accomplished. I'm going to make a top ten list of resolutions for my spring break to help me out. Here we go...
10. Finish my taxes
9. Clean OUT my garage
8. Read a book a day (I've always tried it & never done it!)
7. Do something FUN and NEW each day.
6. Write everyday (Blogging will take care of that, but I'd like to push it more.)
5. Purge closets
4. Clean out cabinets & pantry
3. Paint or craft
2. Meet friends for lunch
1. Take long walks with Bella
I have some "chores" mixed in with treats. Suggestions for other resolutions?!?! Now to make a tentative schedule...that helps me. If you have your spring break next week, I hope you have lots of fun! Take care of yourself!
Wow, that's a full list, friend! I am so jealous your break begins next week. I have one more week then it's my turn. Can't wait! Looking forward to seeing your progress next week, especially with #9 (since winter is over now!) :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a great list of resolutions! My spring break is one week away. Here's to lots of fabulous writing!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a busy list! It would take me all of spring break to clean out my closet, ha! My own break is coming to a close, and today is tax day; sigh.
ReplyDeleteHooray for #7!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a perfect list! I've been trying to manage a little self care with a little hard work as well. I'm signing off now to go work on school! Enjoy your well-earned break! Wishing you the best!
ReplyDeleteI like number seven a lot, Michelle. Don't forget that one! I'm sure you'll also do numbers six and one, too! Enjoy every bit no matter what you do.
ReplyDeleteWe have one loooong week to go before our spring break! I hope you enjoy your time away from work and accomplish all the things you hope to accomplish. I think the idea of spring break resolutions is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou sure have an ambitious list for your break. Don't forget to take some time for yourself!!! :) Hope your break is everything that you hope it to be. ENJOY! I still have one more week. Yes I can, Yes I can, Yes I can!
ReplyDeleteMy slice tomorrow is about the things I did on my spring break. It is back to work for me. Enjoy! I can tell you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI need to do lots of things on your list! I will likely get to NONE of them though! Except the writing part. And maybe the lunch with a friend. None of the productive stuff!!
ReplyDeleteI would keep it light. The more things you add, the more guilty you'll feel when you can't get to most of it. Just breathe more...
